About
Steve
I have always had a passion for art and have felt and still do to this very day. Art is a way to express ones inner personality, a voice spoken visually. I started off a sketch artist and when I had a moment of "artist block" I was encouraged to try out photography. It took sometime but I fell in love with capturing special moments which has resulted in photographing weddings for 9 1/2 years. I love capturing moments where when looked back on that amazing memory comes back to your mind, even remembering everything associated with that moment. That's what photography means to me.

I always loved capturing the beauty in nature, so my main focus was photographing flowers, clouds, and landscapes enjoying these things as a casual amateur photographer. One day my neighbors saw me photographing the flowers in my yard and asked if I would take their engagement pictures . Um what? The engaged couple said "We don't expect much, just a few pictures to capture the moment!" This was totally new territory for me! My cousin soon found out about the session, and her boyfriend (now husband) asked me to capture his surprise proposal. This all led to photographing my first wedding which started a new chapter for my photography! I believe that there are hidden gems all around us, and I strive to highlight and freeze them in time to be enjoyed forever. I want you to love what you see, even if you didn't see it the first time it happened.

I was always taking photos with any camera my family had. From film to point and shoot, I started photographing family trips and capturing heart warming memories. As my love for photography grew and saw how it impacted others, I decided I wanted to do the same for everyone. To me photographing is much more than pushing a shutter, it's a chance to tell the best story you can possibly capture in every frame.
